Alexandra is a Bulgarian rider named as "a Bulgarian snowboard star"! In her career she already has four World Cup podiums in snowboard cross and also finished 5th in SBX at Winter X-games in 2010. Now she is on the Bulgarian Olympic team for 2010 and competed in Torino 2006 in both PGS (25th) and Snowboard Cross (22nd). Her dad and national head coach, Viktor Jekov, will be at the Olympics as her coach.
