MOUNTAIN RUNNING, PARAGLIDING, WILDWATER KAYAKING, MOUNTAIUN BAIKING. The 27th edition of the Red Bull Dolomitenmann proved one of the most closely contested in the history of the event, with Adidas Outdoor emerging victorious in the Dolomites. The top five teams were separated by just six minutes.

LIENZ (Austria) – A total of 45,000 enthusiastic spectators lined the course in and around the town of Lienz in East Tyrol to cheer on the athletes competing in the 27th Red Bull Dolomitenmann, the world’s toughest relay race comprising mountain running, paragliding, wildwater kayaking and mountain biking.

The 2014 edition was particularly exciting as several quartets battled it out for first place. Eventually it was the team from Adidas Outdoor that managed to distance its rivals and claim victory in a time of 4:07:57 hours. Second to arrive in the finish area was Hannes Aigner (GER) from Team Kolland Topsport International, with the bronze medallist from the London 2012 Olympics managing to hold off reigning kayak world champion Tobias Bong (GER) to cross the line 1:17 minutes after the winners.
