SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP. Norwegians Tom Hilde and Bjoern Einar Romoeren showed the best jumps in the qualification for the third competition of the 59th 4-Hills-Tournament. Hilde jumped 129 m and got 134.4 points. "I'm able to show good jumps. I would be satisfied if I could do that again in the competition", Hilde said.

His teammate Romoeren, who not even reached the 100 m mark in training, landed after 129.5 m. After the really bad training jumps this distance was worth 132.7 points. "I did not have that much self-confidence, but then it worked pretty well", Romoeren told. "I just have to work even harder and focus on the positive, not on the negative, things." Romoeren was the best of the not pre-qualified athletes.

Kofler put Garmisch behind

Matti Hautamaeki, third in the 4-Hills-Tournament ranking, jumped on 127.5 m and proved that he is still one of the contestants for a top result. Adam Malysz, Kamil Stoch and the strong Russian Pavel Karelin also showed very good performances. Andreas Kofler put his bad jump from Garmisch-Partenkirchen behind and jumped 127.5 m.
