CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy - A Super-G race originally scheduled to be held in Germany in March will be added to the schedule of women's World Cup events in Italy next week.
International ski officials on Thursday accepted Cortina's offer to host the race, which was one of two Super-G events the German resort of Garmisch was scheduled to hold March 1-2. Garmisch organizers decided not to host the events because of problems finding sponsors.
It has not been decided yet where the other Garmisch Super-G will be moved.
