The fourth edition of World Snow Day is now officially confirmed for 18th January 2015.
The third edition of World Snow Day held on 19th January 2014 grew to include 610 events in 35 countries and also saw an increase in the number of individual participants to go over the half-million mark. Building on the success of the first three years many new Organisers joined in the effort to bring children to the snow and into snow sports.
FIS would like to thank all the Organisers for their dedicated hard work and looks forward to working with them for the fourth edition of World Snow Day.
Below is a summary of the key dates for Organisers:
- 1st July 2014: Registration for Event Organisers will open
- 15th December 2014: Registration for Organisers will close
- 18th January 2015: Fourth edition of World Snow Day
- 19th January 2015: World Snow Day Report System opens
- 20th February 2015: World Snow Day Report System closes

World Snow Day Final Report has arrived
After a successful 3rd edition of World Snow Day the Final Report is now available. The report details all aspects of the event including analysis of goals, actions by FIS, projects by partners, events by Organisers, feedback from Organisers and breakdowns of events by continent and country. In additionn, World Snow Day has also obtained detailed feedback from event participants and non-event participants. It is hoped that this information will benefit all stakeholders.
