Company ‘Yulen', which operates (under a concession) the skiing facilities of Bansko resort informed that had invested 3 million BGN (1,5 million EUR) to improve the ski runs for the new season.
The season in the top resorts starts officially on Saturday, December 15, the Dnevnik daily reminded.
Runs' total length is now 77 km. Also it was constructed new 4-seat ski lift with a capacity of 2,000 skiers per hour and a new ski tow with an hourly capacity of 600 skiers.
Another magnificent ski resort in Bulgaria - Pamporovo invest in a 6-seat ski lift with capacity of 2,000 skiers hourly. The lift should be finished until February next year, Dnevnik informed.
The ski runs in Pamporovo remains to 25 km. The bed capacity is expected to increase with 50%.
