SKI JUMPING. A week after the World Cup, the Continental Cup now stops in Engelberg in Switzerland.
Maximilian Mechler from Germany won the first competition on Sunday. The athlete from Isny showed jumps of 137 m and 127 m worth 252.7 points.
Austrian Markus Eggenhofer was second with 244.6 points, followed by Anders Bardal (NOR) with 241.8 points.
The second competition in Engelberg takes place Monday.
