Tthis year, for the sixth time the FIS Alpine Ski World cup will begin to Solden (Tirol / Austria) on October 26th and 27th.
The high-level skiers and the organizers got ready for the World cup of this winter during several months. Wounded athletes make everything to recover quickly, the others test actively their last equipments of ski.
Many runners have their own program of training. However, the team spirit is very important.
Supporters also get ready for a new season of their favourite sport. What runner is the best encouraged? The fans are invited to bring to Solden musical instruments and the best fans club will see handing a price.
The public will be essentially Austrian and Swiss, but also Croatian (one waits for the supporters of Janica and Ivica Kostelic).
Solden's peculiarity likes in the fact that the women and the men run on the same hillside with the same begin and end of course; only the intermediate plans are different.
The track of World cup was drawn so that 10.000 to 15.000 spectators can observe the race from top to bottom.
During the journeys of Alpine skiing of Solden, the best free-riders of the world will meet in the city of Berlin for the World cup of Snowboard NOKIA FIS, on October 26th.
Solden, the Tirolean Glacier, the Tirol Werbung and the FIS will carry the magic of the winter in the German capital with a wintry and alive Tirolean landscape and a slope of ski made with glacier real snow.
