Morgenstern Austrian Champion
STAMS ( 18/10/2005 05:06 ) Thomas Morgenstern won Austrian National Championships tha took place in Stams the last week. Morgenstern, 19, leaded in both run, landing at 113 and 111,5 m. respectly, and preceeded his teammate Wolfgang Loitzl.
Florian Liegl retires
VIENNA ( 01/10/2005 02:35 ) Florian Liegl surprisingly decided to end his career, due to the lack of motivation. Liegl, 22, caught two triumph in World Cup races, in Bad Mitterndorf and Oslo, both in the season 2002-2003, and he took also nine placement on podium.
Janda won Summer Grand Prix
MILAN ( 30/09/2005 13:16 ) Jakub Janda of Czech Rep. won the final overall of Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix. Janda, 27, caught 606 points with four triumph, Zakopane, Val di Fiemme and Hakuba, both races. Austrian Wolfgang Loitzl took the second place, winner in Hinterzarten, ahead of his teammate Thomas Morgenstern, winner in Courchevel. Slovenian Robert Kranjec won in Einsiedeln and Andrea Kuettel of Switzerland triumphed in Bischofshofen.
