The National High Mountain Sport Complex Belmeken is a unique high mountain multipurpose sport complex located only 140 km southeast from the City of Sofia. It is built on a plateau where the ranges of Rodops and Rila mountains meet, situated 2,050 m above sea level and is world famous with its ecological environment and picturesque surroundings. For a period of 22 years Belmeken has been the basic center for preparation of the best Bulgarian and former East Germany athletes in various sports.

Roller asphalt ground - 2,200 m long for cross country skiing and biathlon.
The neighboring areas offer excellent conditions for high mountain hiking, sport for all activities, mounting biking, orienteering, ski-orienteering.
