ОЛИМПИАДА. Светът е Олимпиада. Тридесетите Олимпийски игри бяха открити лично от Нейно величество Елизабет Втора.

Остров на чудесата. Нещо повече - невиждан досега остров сътвори Дани Бойл и светът буквално ахна пред творческата мисъл на носителя на Оскар. Гледайте тук картина от откриването, което беше излъчено пряко в ефира на БНТ, за да усетите още веднъж атмосферата на откриването на игрите. Игри, които носят послание за мир.

Една приказка. Eдно впечатляващо пътешествие, което преплете по уникален начин минало и настояще. На "Островът на чудесата" на Дани Бойл имаше от всичко - селският живот на Средновековна Англия, заводските комини на индустриалната революция. И златен дъжд - дъжд на "надеждата", завалял от петте олимпийски кръга.

В откриването участваха над 15 000 доброволци, а организацията му струва 36 милиона евро. 4 милиарда души по цял свят станаха свидетели на церемонията, която наистина беше "различна".

Цяла плеяда от знаменитости участваха в уникалния сюжет - стадионът избухна при появата на любимия Мистър Бийн. "Себе си" пък изигра кралица Елизабет Втора. Под зоркото око и в компанията на Агент 007 тя прелетя с хеликоптер разстоянието от Бъкингамския дворец до стадиона. А очакващите я там хиляди зрители останаха без дъх, когато кралицата полетя с "парашут" - разбира се това бе поредното "намигване" на Дани Бойл към присътсващите на стадиона и милионите пред малкия екран.

Дейвид Бекъм пък докара с лодка олимпийския огън. И легендарният Мохамед Али също се появи на церемонията, малко преди знамето с петте олимпийски кръга да бъде издигнато.

Седем тийнейджъри, представляващи младите спортни надежди на Великобритания, заедно запалиха олимпийския огън пред погледа на кралицата. Факелът с огъня беше внесен на Олимпийския стадион от най-успешния британски спортист - сър Стийв Редгрейв.

Младите надежди на Обединеното кралство запалиха по един бокал, а огънят се плъзна по още 198 съда, които формираха пламъка в олимпийски жертвеник. Всеки бокал символизира страните - участнички на олимпийските игри, а огънят - обединението и единството.

Огънят ще гори до края на игрите на 12 август.

България участва на Олимпиадата с 62-ма спортисти, които ще се състезават в 17 вида спорт. Те бяха бурно аплодирани от президента Росен Плевнелиев. Знаменосец на българската делегация при откриването беше гимнастикът Йордан Йовчев, който ще запише шестото си участие на олимпийски игри.

За трети път в историята Великобритания е домакин на най-големия спортен форум - след 1908 и 1948 година. А с какво това домакинство на страната ще бъде запомнено - остава да разберем. Началото обаче беше наистина впечатляващо.

Светът за церемонията в Лондон

Великобритания, каквато никога не сте я виждали - така наблюдателите описват снощната церемония по откриването на Олимпийските игри в Лондон. Това се отнася за света, но и за мнозина британци, които имаха възможност да се спогледат и да кажат "чакай, и това беше наше, нали". Ярката демонстрация на колективни исторически, културни и социални спомени предизвика заслужена гордост и размисли доколко спортът помага за сформиране на нова национална идентичност и обратно. Неизбежни са и сравненията с предишните игри в Пекин и поглед към следващите в Рио де Женейро.
 
Организаторите в Лондон не можеха да си позволят показната разточителност на церемонията в Пекин и умело използваха творческата си свобода.
Мъж: "Беше фантастично, направо съм смаян, страхотно се забавлявах. Изуми ме какво можем да постигнем. На седмото небе съм. Страхотно!"

Жена: "Беше фантастично, различно, чисто британско, всичко, което представляваме. Беше прекрасно!"

Пир за очите, представил богатата история и чувството за хумор на страната домакин, зрелищен и много англлийски. Така медиите в Китай определят спектакъла на режисьора Дани Бойл. Зрителите също оценяват достойнствата.

Момче от Китай: "Беше много креативно и новаторско да покажат как кралицата скача с парашут заедно с Джеймс Бонд. Мисля, че откриването беше страхотно."

Неизбежни са и сравненията с предишното домакинство с оттенък на патриотизъм.

Китаец: "Церемонията по откриването на игрите в Пекин беше по-мащабна, показа не само олимпийския дух, но и китайската история, която обхваща хиляди години. Мисля, че откриването в Пекин беше по-зрелищно."

Часовниците си сверяват и следващите домакини в Рио де Женейро. Мнозина там са скептични, че страната ще успее да се справи с организацията през 2016 г. Още повече, че вече изостава в подготовката за Световното по футбол две години по-рано. Някои от обектите са общи. Като капак снощи не постъпи сигнал и в гигантския екран, поставен за церемонията в един от градските паркове.

Раймундо Барозу: "Щом не успяха да покажат тук една церемония, мога да си представя какво ще направят след четири години."

Насилието по улиците и лошото състояние на транспортната система са други проблем. МОК оцени направеното досега, но предупреди, че времето напредва.
